“relaxing getaway in a beautiful location with easy access to hiking and state parks. the only thing i would recommend is for the property to have more food available for take out / purchase for meals at the la tourelle lounge or on-site at firelight. we had a very difficult time receiving our delivery from grubhub-- that was misdelivered... and it changes the experience of glamping to journey out to go to a restaurant.”

“We absolutely loved our stay at Firelight Camps. The setting is beautiful – tucked into the woods and close to Ithaca, but still with a real sense of being out in nature. The tents were comfortable and the whole place had a relaxed, authentic atmosphere. It was a perfect stop on our road trip with my two boys, giving us a chance to slow down, enjoy the surroundings and experience something very different from a regular hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and everything felt well thought out without taking away from the outdoor experience. Recomend the trip through the trail in the forrest to the nearby dam. Nice walk and a very cool location! A memorable stay and definitely a place we would recommend, and happily return to!”

“The staff here is wonderful! My daughter left her puppy stuffy and when we went back to her it, they had left the cutest little note and care package about taking care of her puppy. It was the icing on the cake- such a peaceful environment with beautiful and very comfortable tents. We will be back!”

“It was absolutely beautiful. The tents were so comfortable and well maintained. With lovely Bedding The facilities were perfect t and the staff so helpful and welcoming. Helping create fire pits or set up the grill. The grounds are great with lots of areas to sit and relax.”

“One of the best vacations I’ve ever had! The tents were amazing, the bed was so comfortable, the camp firepit was fun to sit by, and the bathrooms and showers were very clean (fair warning, the showers always had at least one spider). I am recommending this place to everyone i know and i will be back asap!”

“this place is interesting :) we never gid camping or glamping, so this was different for us. Not much to do on the property except for firepit and drinking. They do provide everything for those things, and plenty. The tents themselves are pretty cool. Yes, you do have occasional mosquito or spider in your tent and on you, but overall, the nets do provide a lot of protection from the elements. Wifi does not work in the tent well, so its really designed for you to slow down and chill. I would do it again, but definitely plan out your day outside of the camp site, as there is not much to do other than firepit.”
